Especially to shoot the small jewelry pieces, it takes effort and a painstaking approach. Jewelry items have a natural reflection, which sometimes makes the picture look good and vice versa. Photoshop is one such software that is an answer to all photo editing needs. If a picture has some flaws, try these steps and make the image look appealing and worthy.

Color Balance
Try your hands on the color balance of the picture. Being a professional photographer, it is your duty to check the color balance of the camera first. If not, then in the post production phase, you can tweak it. Simply open the image in Photoshop, go to Image>Adjustment>Color Balance. Move the sliders and check the color until you get the desired results.
Brightness Level
Go to Layer>New Adjustment layer>Brightness/contrast. Also, you can create an adjustment layer. It is your choice how you want to modify the brightness and contrast level.
Unsharp Mask
This is a good Photoshop tool that allows you to sharpen the image. With the image opened in Photoshop, go to Filter>Sharpen and perform the next steps, such as Amount, Radius, and Threshold. Use these sliders to see the effects and changes to the image.
Level
To change the overall image exposure, go to Image>Adjustments>Levels and move the slider. Moving it to the left side will give a different effect, whereas moving it to the midpoint will give a punchier contrast look.
